Political Parties in the U.S. represent a crucial foundation of a strong democracy. The United States political parties have a different stories, which eventually leads to a unlike platforms due to their interests. As it is well known, the nation has two major Parties, the Republican and Democrat Party. These parties have a prominent influence within the nationwide and unveil similarities and divergences on their platforms. A Contention in ideology has always be part of political parties since the 1800s. However, if being in a Democrat position, I will wholly and strongly oppose against the repeal of minimum wage of workers. The idea of not increasing minimum wage lest to hurt business is groundless; Business exist because there are people available to exergue the work and these people must receive reasonable wage for various reasons. For example, by raising minimum workers will have sufficient fund, which change their qualities of life; they will be more dependent than relying on welfare. In addition, workers will stop working two jobs and focus on one, this will eventually reduces the percentage of unemployment. On the other hand, if being in the Republican position, I will refuse the favor of gay right and lesbian couples (the right to married and adopt children) I will heartily and strictly oppose this favor. Marriage is sacred and it must only be between heterosexual and no change must be made as the Republican 2014 platform states, ”We support withholding jurisdiction from the federal courts in cases involving family law, especially any changes in the definition of marriage.” Children cannot be exposed to this sort of relationship.
