If you thought differently than the tribe you became an outcast not able to be involved in the tribal norms. Many tribes also would combat another tribe strictly because of each other's beliefs, where they lived, or just because of a simple grudge. My second example is in present day society. In today’s society if you have a differing opinion from the majority you are singled out from the crowd, and harassed or attacked by people with the opposing view. If you are in a group of people that have one idea that you are protesting, and you pass by another group protesting the opposite view a lot of the time these two groups will begin fighting whether it’s physically, mentally, or verbally. This singling out, and or fighting between two groups has not changed for hundreds of years. Lastly Peace was prevalent before society, and you can see this with the story of Adam and Eve. There was no society, but just two people in their natural state in which they worked together and did not attack one another in anyway.
