Compare and Contrast Hazel and Augustus
Hazel and Augustus are two main characters from the book “the fault in our star”. Their lives are restricted by cancer, but cancer also brings them together. After reading the book, we found that Augustus and Hazel are similar in their perceptions and attitudes, and partly difference in their characteristics. Hazel and Augustus are two distinctive individuals, which can be attributed to their marked difference. Augustus is extroverted and Hazel is his(the) opposite: she is introverted. Their similarities strengthen their relationships because they have same circumstance and feelings. Were their differences make them estranged from each other, they would bravely accept the feeling of throb. For Hazel and Augustus, it is unbearable to be treated differently and they are stubborn in many ways. The following contexts serve as specific analysis of similarities and differences between Hazel and Augustus.

We use many references from the book that can be the persuasive evidence to prove our statement. About their difference, comparing with Augustus’ extroverted, Hazel is more introverted. This difference makes their love story turns out to be zigzag. There also exist some similarities between Augustus and Hazel: they’re both don’t want to be treated differently and they’re both stubborn.
