The reason I don’t value Sunday morning prayers as much is because it gets monotonous every single week, however, I still arrive on time. We are similar for the most part as we are both punctual, but we arrive punctually for differing reasons. Pete and I are different in the sense that our towns are very different, and as a result we are also different. Pete’s hometown in North Carolina is rather small and somewhat isolated, so it’s evident when you’re not a regular at Church. It’s rather looked down upon when you do not attend Church regularly in Pete’s hometown, as many people are religious; however, Pete’s parents are not, which creates an internal conflict for Pete. My hometown, Salt Lake City is pretty big. It’s not evident whether or not you’re religious or not due to many different churches, temples, and cultures. It’s alright if you’re religious, and it’s alright if you’re not too here in Utah. Because of Pete’s small hometown in North Carolina and my large city of Salt Lake, we are different.
