By implementing the four-year physical education program with the help from the government, everybody will be entitled to follow the curriculum. There will be a penalty for not following the curriculum, including postponed graduation, suspension, and expulsion from the school. For students who are physically active, an additional one hour PE class per day will not be a big impact to their health issue, but it would work excellently for students who are not physically active. For example, if students spend most of their time sitting on a chair or laying down on a bed, and their only physical activity is walking in between classes, the PE class will help them participating in a variety of physical activities, such as running, swimming, and playing sports games. Therefore, I started this project two weeks before the due date, although the instruction of this project was posted on canvas a month before the due date. The assessment part was not difficult because all I had to do was observe the community and identify the risk and protective factors, the health problems, and the target population. For me, organizing my ideas and developing programs specifically for the identified population were the hardest parts of this project. I tried my best to implement proper interventions that are reliable, affordable and valid. Therefore, if I have a chance to explore further into this project, I would like see the actual result of my interventions. It will be an unforgettable experience if I get to see the health promotions I have developed and implemented are actually working and being practical in real-life.
