The comet’s name is Comet Lovejoy, and it is currently producing around 500 bottles of alcohol a second. The discovery of this comet made by Terry Lovejoy, marks the first time alcohol, that people on Earth drink has been found in a comet. In addition to pumping out alcohol, Lovejoy is sprinkling out a type of sugar. Nicolas Biver and his team in Paris have been studying this comet, and have found 21 organic molecules coming from the comet.
