Comet landing has been one of the greatest achievement of this century, but only a select few know about the design of this remarkable spacecraft ‘Rosetta’ which made all this possible. When I looked up about this spacecraft in Wikipedia I was highly disappointed by the amount of specification provided for the design and construction of this spacecraft. Furthermore, this incredible achievement of landing a probe on a comet has been a subject of hot topic in the media so I thought many people would want to know more about this wonderful piece of machine. I personally felt very happy when I found out that this spacecraft had been carrying a lander that will helps us study about comets. Comets in a way have always baffled me. Despite having billions of comet in our solar system our understanding of these kind of celestial bodies is very limited. But with the help of this recent landing scientist will be able to do in-depth analysis of this comet providing us with the information to better understand the origin and evolution of the solar system. Moreover, the complex organic molecule found on comets will answer questions like if comets played a role in making life possible on earth.
