The nurse should move to team triage as an intervention for this diagnosis. This assigns physicians, nurses, and technicians to help during the triage process. By doing this, the waiting times endured by patients are reduced. This allows for the outbreak to be assessed quicker, more efficiently, and has more patients being treated. Treating more patients can ensure others that this outbreak will be treated, therefore, possibly increasing how the community copes with this in an appropriate manner.
