College Admissions Essay: Goals That Make Reality

Goals That Make Reality A major concern for me in my life is to achieve an education. Since my younger years growing up as an adolescent and going to school, I always wondered what I wanted to do when I grow up. It seems like it’s not a hard question, but in reality it actually is. After I graduated high school in June 2000, I wanted to attend college, but didn’t have enough money to attend. After graduating high school, I decided to work first to save up money to go to college. I realized that the only way I can go to college and graduate from a university was to sacrifice myself to get where I wanted to be. So, I worked my way up by working low paying jobs to save money. Interestingly enough, now I am the first person in my family that is finishing a Bachelor’s Degree and my search for a better life begins.

I have showed that I can succeed in some of life’s hardest challenges. I would say that there is no challenge too hard when you give your one hundred percent effort in everything you do in life. Sometimes, life challenges and obstacles deprive us from reaching our true potential. However, what I learned through constant effort is to never give up because at the end you never know where you can be if you only try.
I now can say that I have accomplished a good part of my life goals and aspirations by

obtaining my AA and BA degrees in college. That is the same reason why I would like to pursue

a Master in Business to advance more in my education and to give back to others what I have

learned to current and future graduates like myself. Also, another reason why I would like to

pursue a degree in business is to find a career where I can utilize my skills learned from past

education and employment to show what I can bring to the program, the university and potential
