that in the near future there will be 80,000 unfilled jobs because of an unprepared workforce. despite recent resources being earmarked for low-income communities in workforce development and training, we still see a seriously large gap. there is a breach in communication and sharing of information and opportunities available for low-income communities.
therefore, CEA actively participates and is building collective impact initiative within the 6 neighborhoods with high rates of unemployment, lack of homeownership, and low median income. the collaborations are to begin to address workforce development and training needs and particularly providing opportunities through education and outreach to the community of all availbale training within the area. …show more content…
