Loma’s characterization as a spoiled brat will continue to make life even more challenging for all the characters in Cold Sassy Tree, including Will Tweedy and the newlyweds Rucker and Love. It’s understandable that the age gap between Loma and Will would cause them to not be very close, but their disconnect is due mostly to Loma’s spoiled nature.
