This person will hold the title of General Manager. As General Manager, this person will have over 12 years experience managing a similar business entity. Being at the top of management and holding an executive position, this person will be responsible for the Marketing Department, Operations Department, Finance and Account Department as well as Human resource department. Each department manager must ensure that the goals of their department are met so as to keep the museum a viable business entity. The general manager is responsible for implementing policies for the improvement of the entity. - Marketing Manager
The marketing manager will be responsible for the entity’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. This individual will work with a team that will carry out events, promotions, advertisements or any other idea related to letting the entity known to both local residents as well as tourist. The marketing manager directs the efforts of the marketing team and organizes at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of Colbeck Castle. This department manager will have a team consisting of event planners who will conduct fundraising events, promotion events and any event that will showcase the services offered at Colbeck Castle.
This department will be small in the first two years; however, depending of profit projections and the increase in certain operational one will find that this department may have to change. This change may encompass a division of advertising, sales, and public relations department separately.
