Studying about the three kinds of epidemiological studies – Intervention, Cohort, or Case-Control I think a more effective way to gather data is a cohort study. Cohort studies, in my opinion, allows you to see what happens in a sequenced order. In this type of study, the subjects are observed over a particular period to see those who have been exposed to a toxic chemical, adverse effects of drugs or treatments or occupational exposure will develop the disease. In a cohort studies it allows examination of multiple effects of a single exposure, example of this is the study regarding the Air Force health study on Agent Orange.
