Cocaine Group Analysis

The patient arrived to the clinic to report that he cannot attend the Cocaine Group due to the barrier of his transportation issue. According to the patient, he reports his brother had given him a ride and will not wait or return for him. This writer encourages the patient to call his brother or send him a text message. Based on the patient's brother response, his brother is unable to return to pick up his brother after group. The patient requested to be terminated from the group as he will rejoined next month, once he get is car fixed and.or receive his bus pass in the mail. This writer discussed with the patient about the reason he was referred to this group and also, empathized with the patient barriers to not being able to attend group.
