Coal Persuasive Speech

Decent Essays
Hello Michael,
I guess it is amazing how we keep using coal to generate power even after thousands of years. I feel we became used to coal because of how convenient it has been for all these years, we are failing to look at the other ways to generate power. The way we have been able to transition into futuristic ways of living, it is hard to think we are still using a prehistoric way to generate power.

More Canadians than ever seem to prefer flying out of U. S. airports to reach their destinations. This is largely due to the cost efficiency of catching a flight from a facility such as SeaTac Airport instead of a Canadian airport. If you are driving to SeaTac to catch a flight, you probably wish to find a parking facility with affordable rates, and you’ll certainly want to be sure that your car is left in a safe place. Like countless fellow Canadians, you may well appreciate the low prices, convenience, and other benefits of leaving your vehicle at an off-site SeaTac Airport parking lot, such as Aeroparking’s Park & Fly lot. Quick Access to SeaTac Airport One of the top benefits of long-term parking with Aeroparking is the quick trip…

Although Victoria, also known to we Aussies as "Vic," is our nation's most densely populated state, it is the smallest in size by comparison. Vic's proximity and exposure to various marvels of geophysical splendor makes it a paradise for those who relish the great outdoors and this state's rich resources. With the Bass Strait and Tasmania to the south, New South Wales to its north, the Tas Sea to the east and with South Australia to its west, Victoria extends to Aussies a wide range of natural attractions that make it second to none in Australia. Let's begin with the Great Ocean Road. I am writing to you on the basis of your new policy of “Stopping the boats”. I believe that it is highly unethical that one should restrict the access of another human being, who is displaced by means of war or poverty into the Australian border. The concerns I am raising are thematically paralleled in the Australian National Anthem “ For all who’ve come across the seas we’ve boundless plains to share”. Why must this policy dictate entry access to our nation if it is indicatively stated that we have “Boundless place to share”?…

They sit along side of the road and chew on different pieces of wood, grass and shrubs. Woodchucks do not harm anything, they simply love enjoying the sun and eating through out the day. This animal lives on roots, veggies and different types of shrubs in the wild.…

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:13,14 Every day God's salvation draws nearer, which means we must be more diligent and persevering in our walk with the Him. We do not have the "luxury of time" to be consumed, preoccupied, or even fatigued in our day-to-day responsibilities that we become distracted to what God wants to accomplish in each of our lives and in His church! We are nearing the day of the "coming of our Lord and Savior," which signifies the need to pick-up our pace so that we will finish our earthly race and hear our Lord proclaim, "Well done thou good and faithful servant..."…

I am writing in concern of the recent release of your proposed energy policies for your upcoming term as president. I have gathered from the press release that the main goal of your plan is to lessen the US’s dependence on foreign fuels and gain access to the untapped wealth of natural resources in our country by increasing the amount of energy jobs for americans. You intend to accomplish this goal by approving the Keystone Pipeline, removing barriers on renewable energies, cancelling the Paris Agreement and many other ambitious policies. And while some of these ideas you present are quite viable, there are others- including the removal of barriers on fracking and pursuance of nuclear energy- that I must advise you to reconsider. Mr. Trump, I urge you to reconsider your policy…

After reviewing my persuasive speech over why the University of Oklahoma is the best university in the nation, I would sum up my speech as a little bit of train wreck. Although I made good claims with factual evidence, the amount of stuttering I did, and all the times I was choked up throughout the speech drew my audience’s attention away. From this, I lost my audience’s belief that I was competent of the information I was reiterating to them. At the introduction of my speech I believe I started out fairly strong and gave a good run down of the coming speech.…

Everyone is familiar with pollution and greenhouse gasses. They understand that our vehicles pollute, and it is not helping our environment. Our citizens’ march in the street for change and oil companies take the majority of the blame. The bottom line is everyone wants less pollution; however, the reality is that we choose because of convenience. We choose the convenience of driving our own cars, instead of taking the bus to work.…
