Discovery of basic values and reaching an agreement on clinical ethical values are essential with regard to constant changes in nurses social class and role. Nurse’s awareness of their values and the effect of these values on their behavior is a core part of humanistic nursing care. They need to tailor their function to the value system and cultural beliefs of their service recipients. A literature review was carried out in 2010 to determine ethical values & related definitions in nursing systems of various countries.
In this literature review, the York University four step approach was applied these steps are as follows forming questions and determining search strategies, extracting synthesis, providing quality assessments and applying study evaluation tools and suggesting methods to data synthesis and analyze.
