The sun, a blistering ball of fire, beamed down on the state of Montana (Appositives). For the second year in a row, Montana experienced the worst season of wildfires since 1950. Suffering through the intense temperatures and droughts, Montana served as a warning to other regions; Climate change is coming (Participles). Areas around the world suffer from drastic climate change, similar to Montana. Climate change has become one of the world's foremost issues and for a good reason. Along with humans, “volcanic eruptions, fluctuations in ocean currents”, and other natural disasters, produce destructive emissions that are released into the atmosphere (Gail, 2015). Many scientists believe that if humans continue to carelessly use fossil fuels, “weather patterns could change, causing flooding, drought, and an increase in damaging storms” (Should the U.S., 2012).
