She did not only want Egypt to be safe and keep her throne, she wanted Egypt to be as great as it was in the past and she was determined to do so. Cleopatra's independence and ambition made her an amazing leader because she didn't let people discriminate against her for being a woman, she took the responsibilities that needed to be taken to be a great queen and these actions made her become one of the most admirable rulers till this day. One of her greatest accomplishments was a marked improvement in the role of women in the society in those times. Cleopatra’s personal life inspired many to treat marriage as nothing more than a partnership, with each of the two partners having his/her individual responsibilities to fulfill.
