Rules become enforced and the law becomes stricter as time goes on to ensure change in society. Take for instance, the black lives matter movement. This movement was a silent protest against cops killing blacks. Although, it could be said that some people were violent with the protest over all the national movement spread quick and quietly. People got shirts made and honesty stepped into this movement and embraced it. This movement bought upon more in depth investigations on police officers in relation to the many deaths of African American people in America. Also it bought upon the use and strict enforcement of body cams that police are required to wear now. The fact that this movement was so silent but also so deadly still amazes the world. The black lives matter movement made a difference in how an entire force of police is handled and how they operate.
Peaceful resistance to laws positively impacts the free society. It does this by specifically allowing people to exercise their first amendment rights as well as effectively bring about change. As stated before, people whenever really realize the change-taking place in society because of the peaceful protest. The parents that create foundations for lost teens always help to change society behind the scenes. The body cams helped to see a lot of deaths happening due to the police. Peaceful resistance helps to mold and shape the free society more than harm it when looking for long term
