Chiropractic is a controversial health care system. Today it is estimated to have close to 24,000 practitioners in the United States. Chiropractors are licensed in all states and in several countries all over the world. Many people agree and disagree with what DC’s do, because they think it isn’t something normal to do. Other opinions are revealed as studies change show a drastic change in the amount of people who go to see Chiropractors these days. To be a chiropractor it takes a lot of schooling and the proper knowledge of everything you are doing, along with every detail that goes with the human body. Several studies have found that about one-third of patients will experience more rapid relief with manipulation than with other techniques. Manipulation therapy is mostly not utilized as fully as it might be in the symptoms of helping many other disorders. It has been discovered that it is best in helping with migraines.

The term ''chiropractic'' literally means "done by hand”. It was formed by the founder of it all, Daniel D. Palmer, a man with an intense interest in the health philosophies of his day. In 1895, Palmer claimed that he was approached by deaf janitor and did a simple adjustment to his spine, which gained his sense of hearing back.
When you look deep into the facts of Chiropractic school, each one has their own way of doing things. Logan University College of Chiropractic, has it’s many ways as well. The first technique that is used is called “ Logan Basic”. Logan Basic is the very first technique that students are taught at Logan. The technique is a system of body mechanics with special attention on pelvic and spinal distortions.
