Cohen states that’s children with neurological disorders with sleep disturbance will affect the children’s daytime functioning. The method materials that Cohen used for this experiment is he had parents fill out questionnaires as part of the children routine part in the child evaluation to detect abnormal sleep patterns. Cohen did this experiment in the medical center of Israel this university is affiliated pediatric hospital joined Cohen study. Cohen asked the patients or the patients parents to fill out the questionnaire. The questionnaire/ procedure was divided into three major diagnostic category ADHD, epilepsy and others. The SDSC consist of 26 in a case in a 5 point Likert type scale (0 = least severe and 5 = most severe) divided this into 6 small subcategories. (1) disorders of initiating and maintain sleep (DIMS), (2) disorders of sleep related breathing (SDB), (3) disorder of arousal (DA), (4) sleep awake transition disorder(SWTD), (5) disorders of excessive somnolence (DOES), (6) sleep hyperhidrosis (SHY). Cohen studied 186 participants 109(58.6%) were males and 77(41.4%) were females. They ranged from 2- 18 years
