"These observed differences during childhood indicate that, from early stages of development, the genetic makeup of individuals interacts with environmental factors (influenced by the population-specific locations, cultures, social settings and practices) to create variation in fat acquisition and accumulation among populations Fernandez JR1, Klimentidis YC, Dulin-Keita A, Casazza K. (2012)." Furthermore, experimental studies have implied that obesity traits may increases with age, due to the environment where child are raised. Two biggest factors are the social and parental atmosphere of the early childhood stage which can affect the body weight for life. "Over the past 20 years, studies incorporating this approach have identified a large number of potential genes contributing to variation in obesity-related traits. However, of the 127 candidate genes identified, few have been replicated across multiple studies Fernandez JR1, Klimentidis YC, Dulin-Keita A, Casazza K. …show more content…
Even though science have made some advance within the obesity investigations implying that it is genetically determined, they may be some inquiry in regards of the genetic variation within a person's background.
