Secondly, the ecological factors has to do with the societal influences and how it influences the act of neglect such as the community in which one resides in and the societal institutions in which they are apart of for example churches or other large societal institution. Lastly, the personalistic factors looks at the parents ability and inability to process and interpret information the right from wrong and if they two suffered from neglect when they were young making it difficult for them to carry out the nurturing role that’s expected form them as well as forming relationships with their children As stated by (Crosson-Tower, 2014, p. 68). In my opinion the parent’s were emotionally burned an stressed/ depressive as they had 13 children with only one source of income within the household the move from Texas to California in the year 2010 then a year later had to file for bankruptcy losing all their valuable position including the farm house in Texas triggered a coping mechanism for both parents as they felt in they had locked them away in a room they would not have to support
