He barely talks with children his age. He would rather sit in the corner with his iPad with him. He isolates himself from other kids and/or people. I observe that he only plays with other kids if they ask him to or if his parents took away his iPad. When every kid is together, he is the quiet one of all of them. In addition, he is a kind of child where he eats more than other kids do. You also can clearly see that he looks down when you try to talk to him. He doesn’t look at your eyes unlike other children would. In short, he has a very low self-confidence due to his weight. But one thing that he is very good at, he remembers your instructions to him and he follows it accordingly. He is unlike other kid at his age range that would ask a lot of questions first before doing so. Mental development comes with different types. And I would say that memory development and strategic development come with mental development. Bryan tends to memorize a poem quickly than other kids his age, which is good for him. Also, Bryan has a very good strategic ways of learning and putting things in order or the way they should be. He is also very talented memorizing the instructions his parents told him to do.
