A big issue for me was the fact that, even though Julie was abused by her father, there had to be a way to play the side of Julie that it’s hurt and not angry. My first instinct was to play fear. I thought that Julie kept this fear for her father over the years. When I found out that Julie more than scare was hurt finally could have an overall vision of what my main purpose was. She is there at the hospital because she needs to face her father before he passes away, she knows that this is her last chance to close that door and start a new page, even though she will not admit it Child abuse is a big deal no matter what it is wrong and there are no excuses for this, nevertheless a big deal for me was to find the way of showing that hurt adult that Julie is.…

The sound of battle drums deafened the ears of men. The cloak of death stretched over the fields and the cries of men rang over the atmosphere. Fear entrenched itself into the hearts of all as blood ran through the field. Mad men led the troops into the trenches. Men, who had no souls, had no loved ones back home they were praying to return to.…
Something that I would defend as being wrong no matter what anyone said is abuse. This is abuse toward any human and animal and in any form. People hurt others physically, sexually, mentally, or verbally for a few reasons, but it stems “from a desire to gain and maintain power and control”. They will hurt others over and over for their own gain. Abuse is wrong since it is unmoral to hurt other for their own personal gain or pleasure.…
Recovering Memories from Childhood Sexual Trauma and Their Long term Effects Childhood is the time for children to be in school and at play, to grow strong and confident with the love and encouragement of their family and an extended community of caring adults. It is a precious time in which children should live free from fear, safe from violence and protected from abuse and exploitation. However, all children are not always protected and therefore undergo a multitude of traumas including sexual abuse. Sexual abuse refers to any action that pressures or forces someone to do something sexually they don't want to do.…

He adopts a bitter, yet relieved, tone in order to duplicate the emotions himself and others have in abusive relationships in his abundance of readers. Dave Pelzer utilizes structure and tone to contribute to his overall message to make a broad change concerning child abuse.…

Or that according to the non-profitable organization Child help in the United States, 3.3 million accounts of child abuse are made per year involving nearly 6 million children? From these statistics you can see how big a controversy child abuse is and how frequently it occurs. Surprisingly, child abuse is more common in developed countries than undeveloped countries. For instance in the United States, Mexico and Portugal, reports of child abuse are ten times higher than other countries with the next highest rates (UNICEF).…
Speaking for Those too Young to Understand Child abuse is a national calamity that is appalling and often draws violent and emotional reactions. South Carolina has improved in child well-being the last several years, and statistics from Kids Count now indicate that we have risen from 45th to 42th in the nation for child well-being. While this is a step in the right direction, more can be done to save our innocent children from the atrocities of child abuse. Improvements can be made in how cases handled, through how many cases are responded to and the response time, and how information is permeated throughout the public, especially the amount of education given to children.…
