It has been 5 years since the gang was all together in one place. Soda left and went to Florida to win Sandy back about 1 year after Dally and Johnny died. Him and Sandy have a daughter named Sugar now. At first I thought it was a little weird that they decided to name her that, but the moment I met her I knew the name suited her, she was sweet just like sugar. Cherry goes to a local college around here somewhere. I can’t remember exactly where but she’s close enough that we hang out almost every weekend and watch the sunset together. She sure was something, that Cherry Valance. Sometimes I think about what it would be like to go out with her but I can never work up the courage to ask her. I mean I’m a greaser. And even though we haven’t had …show more content…
Finally the doctor came out and walked over to us.
“Well, that was one nasty accident. He’ll be ok but he's gonna be paralyzed from the waist down.”
No! I thought not again i've already lost Johnny and Dally I can't lose Darry. Sure we fight but he’s my brother and I love him.
“He will need physical therapy and a lot of love and comfort” the doctor had said Over the next couple months I helped Darry with his physical therapy and I did things like laundry and fixed dinner things like that. After a couple weeks Soda, Sandy and their daughter went back to Florida so it was just me and Darry. I’ve been keeping an eye on him ever since. Eventually Darry was able to do some things like he used to. Sometimes he wouldn't let me help him, said that he needed to learn to do these things by himself again.

One morning I woke up earlier than usual so I decided to go for walk. It was cold outside and I wasn’t wearing a coat so the wind didn’t help much. After walking a few blocks I sat down on the curb and lit a cigarette.
“Ponyboy is that you?” said a voice, I turned to see Cherry running towards

I worry about him sometimes”
“Oh Pony it’s been over a year since his accident. And you know that all he wants more than anything is for you to go to college. It would break his heart if you didn’t” she said. I turned to look at her.
“Oh I know it!” I said, I could feel my cheeks gettin’ red.
“Calm down Pony. It’ll work out you’ll see. But you gotta tell him”
“I know. I will. Tonight” I said smiling at her. She smiled back. She sure did know how to make me feel better.

Cherry and I hung out and just talked all day. When night time came we went to the Nightly Double and watched what was playing, we got kicked out for throwing popcorn at each other though. But we didn’t mind that much the movies playing weren’t that good anyways. She walked me home. We talked about the sunset that had happened the previous night. We do that, if we aren’t together to see it we talk about it the next time we see each other. By the time we got to my house Cherry was babbling on about some teacher but I wasn’t listening because I was thinking about how much I liked her and about how we have been friends for a while now and then the words just came

“I’m going to try to give him and some anesthesia, and then get him on the fold out stretcher, I could use some help, you know.” It appeared that he had a gunshot wound to the left shoulder and his right knee. He also suffered a minor injury, probably from an explosion, or almost like being launched up and then being throw forcefully by gravity, back to the ground. I imagined it was probably from some sort of explosive being dropped, or thrown towards him. I was just a combat medic in training, I guess you could say.…

At the beginning of my Christmas break, I was sitting by a smoky, hot fire with some hot coco with marshmallows in it with a warm blanket on a cold day. On the second day of break, I was riding my four wheeler drifting on the icy roads trying to go get more wood for my family's fire at my grandma and grandpa's house .But when I got there and there was a big puff of smoke in the back and it smelled like a fire so I ran back there, but it was just my grandma and grandpa making a fire so they could roast marshmallows so I joined and roasted marshmallows with them then I got my wood and rode back home.…

Mrs. Winn’s kindergarten class was probably one of my favorite elementary classes because I had my best guy friend, Cameron, in the class, and it was obviously an easy class for me. I remember whenever we colored anything or did any drawings, my teacher would always compliment my coloring abilities because I knew how to color within the lines; all the other kids had scribbles outside of the lines and their drawings would not be as neat as mine. Cameron and another boy named Jordy were my favorite people in the class and the three of us would always hang out together and play outside during recess. Jordy was my favorite until he snitched on me and told the teacher I did something I did not do. He eventually died out of my life because I did…
