“One vote is not going to change anything” and “every vote counts” are example of the ideologies one may have. Pessimistic voters may think that their single vote is not going to change who our potential President will be. And this is true, to a certain extend. One vote will not change the outcome of an election….. unless every citizen has voted and there is a tie… then yes, you hold all of the power. But, if you take a step back to see the bigger picture, there are millions of people who share that same ideology as you. Wait, is that how it works? The current Presidential Candidates have been very outspoken about the inequality in our taxes, *cough cough* Bernie Sanders. Taxes affects us all differently depending on one’s revenue. This includes the tax system, tax brackets, and tax rates.
A small subtopic that intertwines with taxes is government aide, or any form of welfare. I believe some people take advantage of the fact that they qualify to receiving a check from the government and don’t actually make an effort to find a job. Many of citizen leech off of Medicare, CHIPS, welfare and other government aid programs.
