Ethics are the customs of a certain group. People pair ethics with their feelings and what is right. Charlie Gordon is 37, he has an IQ of 68. Charlie underwent an operation to try and make him smarter. His doctors did not act ethically when they preformed the surgery to attempt to make him smarter.
Charlie Gordon's did not act ethically when they did the surgery when they tried to make him smarter. If Dr. Strauss and Dr. Nemur acted ethically, then they would have considered Charlies well-being and tell him all the possible outcomes. Charlie was not aware the the possible fatal outcome, or that the good outcomes would be temporary.
The doctors failed to think about the patients
