Charles Darwin's Theory Of Natural Selection

Charles Darwin argues that species change throughout time due to natural selection, which is explained in Origin of Species. Darwin addresses those who learn his theory of natural selection will doubt. The technique used for his arguments are very aggressive and mild. His theory creates aggression, so his argumentative technique generates combat, and yet prevents him from sounding like a pushover. Charles Darwin (a naturalist) created a theory called Natural Selection from his observations. Natural Selection is the preservation of favorable variations and the rejection of injurious variation. Species are in certain environments and they have to survive through harsh landscapes. While animals endure the trials, some animals may die and some continue living because certain species did not have particular traits to survive in those environments. The environment changed the traits of the survivors who were able to endure the trials so they transformed into a new species. Natural Selection selects the species that are able to survive and evolve them to new ones in order to survive in that environment. …show more content…
Darwin’s theory is the opposite of other naturalist’s observations, so Darwin perceives them with ignorance. He perceives them with ignorance because he believes people do not have the mind capabilities to see the change of natural selection. Natural selection happens very slowly that we cannot see it. On the Origin of Species explain that geologists had a hard time to believe that the formation of lines on inland cliffs and excavation of valleys were from the slow actions of coastal waves. Just as coastal waves slowly form landscape creations, so does natural selection with organisms. The change of organisms is complete after we look back again, thus naturalist believing that organism are their own
