Lincoln begun at the bottom he was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Lincoln was raised in simple poor town were most people was uneducated and when he became president he never forgot where he came from. When he heard a speech, he would get on a level so the people could understand him. He would communicate in goals in a way that even a simple country man could understand. He was not the type of leader that spoke over his people’s heads. Lincoln wanted his people to be clear about what his purpose was and how he plans to put it in effect.
In order to be a great leader communication is very important characteristic to have. Winston Churchill and Martin Luther King Jr also possessed this characteristic. Winston Churchill served Prime Minister of Britain in 1940. Winston Churchill believed that communicating with his people was important as well. Winston Churchill was known as a visible leader. He would visit factories and bombed houses to talk to his people to help their needs. Winston Church was a passionate leader that dedicated his leadership to bettering his
