You also have to respond rapidly whenever you are stuck in a tough situation. When Othello was told that Desdemona was supposedly cheating on him. He responded with all rage and ordered a source of more evidence from Cassio. “To be once in doubt is once to be resolved, I’ll have some proof?”. When Desdemona defends Cassio in act IV scene II, he slaps her as a result of his resentment. The scene shows us that Othello is also impulsive when it comes to personal issues. Act 5 scene 2 is when Othello murders Desdemona while she lays in her bed with all innocence. AT first, he is calm and loving, but as she starts to speak up and try to defend herself, his rage is fueled and he starts to reply in aggression. He speaks to her using phrases such as “ Down, Strumpet.” Out strumpet! Weep’st for him to my face?” He also speaks indicating that ”it’s too late” after she starts to argue in confusion. As Desdemona continues to show her fear by shouting, he stifles her. He acts quickly and he ends her life tragically. Othello was considered an outsider and not a human but a horse. While living in Venice, Othello gained a vast amount of insecurities. He believed that he wasn’t able to give love to the Vanecian women the same way Cassio and other white men did. Othello was finally accepted by a white person and was finally loves by a person. Desdemona was the love of his life and changed it completely. While Othello was trying to woo Desdemona, Brabantio ho was Desdemona’s father didn’t accept that because he wasn’t able to imagine his white daughter living and loving a moor. Othello believed that Desdemona’s love and compassion towards him was too good to be real. IN addition, his love story ended as he fell for the scam told by Iago. Othello;s insecurities got into his head until he believed that he was unable to offer Desdemona the same love Cassio could offer her. This led to Othello’s rage and murder of Desdemona. He ended the feeling of being empty and worthless b finally killing her. The insecurities he gained while he believed Desdemona cheated on him resulted the need of killing Desdemona for duty. He had to kill her because she was the only thing that made him feel good and now that she was believed to di-obey him, he ends her
