In the book Half moon Investigations you can tell that the two main characters are becoming friends. For example Red shared a secret with Fletcher. That proves that Red and Fletcher were becoming friends because Fletcher was the first person to hear about the secret. Another example is that when Red made Fletcher mad, and Red tried to calm him down. Usually Red would just laugh when he made Fletcher mad. A final example is when Red called Fletcher Fletcher, and not his detective name. That is a big deal because everybody called him Half Moon, until Red. The three examples prove that Fletcher Moon and Red Sharky were becoming friends.
