It has come to my attention that many people think it is hard to change a tire. A lot of people take their vehicle to a auto shop to have a tire changed. They will spend hundreds of dollars for someone to do a job that takes less than a hour to do. This is why with the right automotive tools, the knowledge of demounting a tire, and the knowledge of mounting a tire. Changing a tire is an effortless procedure. Having the right automotive tools is the most important part of changing tires. Now you do not have to go out and buy the most expensive tools, but getting a good brand name like Craftsman that will hold up to some punishment will make the job easier to do. The tools that are needed are a one ton jack stand, a three ton jack, ½ inch socket set, ½ inch socket wrench, ½ inch torque …show more content…
The jack will help lift the vehicle and the jack stands hold it up for safety in case the jack fails. As for the socket set, socket wrench, torque wrench, and breaker bar, these will all work together to get the nuts off and on. It is critical that the socket set has the size socket for the nuts that hold on the tires. Find this in the owner's manual under changing tires.
