Social Class Challenges

The Challenges to Improve Social Class All over the world, millions of people have different lifestyles when growing up. It focuses on a person’s who social class are defined on socioeconomic variables of how much income they make, being wealthy or not, and getting an education. There are six common social classes that exist which are Upper, Upper Middle, Lower Middle, Working, and the Poor, but the biggest question we have to ask for our self is “where do we stand at in the social class in the United States? The chances are everyone have different challenges to face when they want to improve their social class, such as influencing their family life, getting a better education, and having healthcare is part of a social life. It is mostly about taking responsibilies on how a student want to be successful. A child parent may be uneducated, but this allows the parent to have a second chance for their child to live a better life than they did before. This can make an individual to be more in debt if not having enough money which won’t let them to continue a better education. The overcome for this barrier would be going back to college by applied some scholarship to help pay out of state tuition and living expense. The students can go to a job corps if they want extra help to achieve their future job will for sure move up to the next social class by helping the students pay for their school. For example, when I was growing up, my parents would always have extra money and we would do a lot of traveling around the Four Corner state because my father used to attend a lot of Indian Art show. He became a very well-known wood carver and he would always win a lot of awards. In addition, he usually sale his artwork and it is how he make his money by being self-employed made himself to still be successful in life. But when winter season come around, my father would struggle trying to sale his work to his buyers because hardly anyone bought his works that time of year which is very slow. I remember this one time my family and I had almost no food in our house during the winter because my father had no money and my mother was working, but she used her money to pay for her gas and all the bills to keep the house warm, have the hot water running, and to make sure we have electricity. So, we have suffered for couple of weeks. Until one day, we reached help from the LDS church who helped donate food for us to survive for a few months. When spring time came around, my father went back to making more money so, everything was back to normal again. The society is mixed with different people who struggle to have a good income, but only the wealthy people can create job can help other lower social classes to be successful
