Cervical Injury Patient Analysis

At our facility, we see a lot of cervical injury patients, such as Motor vehicle accidents, spinal cord injury, etc. One of the assessment tools that we used is cervical spine functional questionnaire. It is an objective standardized test, develop to characterize reports of neck pain and evaluate the outcomes of existing treatments based on patient-reported outcomes. It is a quick, easy and a short assessment tool that provides us with client’s functional limitations in daily life activities. OTR does not have to certified to perform this test. It consists of 19 questions and takes 5-10 minutes approximately. The total possible score is 95, higher the score, increased functional limitations.
