To begin, this book should be banned because of it is bad role models. One troublesome character in the book is Mark. Mark demonstrates many traits of a bad person all while keeping an innocent and expressionless face. One example that exhibits Mark’s bad behavior is when the book states, “ … But after the thing happened last, when Mr.Griffin had recognized Mark’s term paper as one he read several years before at the University of Albuquerque” (77). Mark cheating is not acceptable because it suggests cheating on important assignments. Mark uses papers that are used by students on a college level. For one, it is illegal to use former papers, it is also blatant plagiarism. Not only this, it is an influential idea that could potentially inspire students to cheat on their own papers.
