As stated in the textbook the best way to lose weight is through a lifestyle that includes both a balanced diet and exercise. However if someone is new to exercising he should start out slow until his muscles are ready for high intense workouts. Muscle strength is very important for every day activities, we need this strength to hold a good posture and prevent injuries. I never really exercised until earlier this year and when I got into it I started going many times a week and pushed myself very hard. unfortunately I thought I was ready for high interval workouts not knowing that it takes time for my muscles to get used to. I now have a beginning of a hernia which is almost like a tear in the abdominal
