The result of Cece’s accident caused others to help more ways than usual. On page 65 it say’s that Ginny make a big deal out of her hearing. She even talks very loudly around Cece. Cece had confronted Ginny and had said “ YOU DON’T HAVE TO TALK TO ME SO LOUD AND SLOW, I CAN’T STAND IT!”. This helps prove the point of my overall position because from the start Cece had said that it felt like Ginny was watching her. When Cece moved to her new neighborhood, she didn't really fit in. She isolated herself from the children and never did anything with them. She did this because she didn't have any similarities with the other children. In one of the comic panels, there was a drawing that showed Cece by herself.Cece had said that she was an outcast herself. It had also said “ I can't explain it, it's not just the radio situation that is making me feel so lonely in this new place.It's a feeling that lasts all summer long.” If CeCe did have a lot of similarities with the other children she would have been well known. If she would have made friends with them, she would eave been introduced to other kids.Since she had a difficult time comprehending what people said, it made friendships difficult too. At times when she couldn't understand their words so she said weird things. This made other people think differently about her. Also in group discussions the doctor had told her to avoid them. That is the main reason why it was hard to understand them so she oftenly separated
