The day I heard about CBA Loop was not the day that I became their customer. What kept me away was the copy “time to unbank yourself”, it was a misleading catchphrase. Unbanked are the ones who are not served by a bank or similar financial institution. I surely did not want to be unbanked, so I stayed banked until one day a friend of mine walked me through her experience. It became clear that CBA Loop is a form of a digital bank which targets millennials and people who dislike the exhausting banking hall experience (I am one of them) and not completely about abandoning banking.

Having the right copy not only informs but also appeals to emotions, creating unique bonds with the consumers and encourages them to interact with your product. The

It took me under 10 minutes to actually register an account through the website but was required to visit a Loop Zone/Store to complete the process before my account is activated and start using the app. My picture and fingerprints were taken before I left with a beautiful debit card. I was looped!

Both the online and store experiences were delightful. The only experience improvement I will recommend to the Loop team is to activate accounts and allow customers to start transacting straightaway as they plan to visit a loop store to get their cards. This is the most important step of all. When a visitor completes the online registration her excitement rate is still high by allowing her to transact immediately as she plans to visit loop shop, increases the chances of her becoming a customer. The ask to visit a loop zone before using the account may have cost the business potential customers so far.

Design is the act of solving problems for others and about how things work and delivering customer values through delightful experiences. In this post, I will be sharing my experience design opinions after using the app for the past few months. Most importantly how putting user experience at the core of the product design can significantly increase customer satisfaction and base for the

The article entitled “Advertising Fifteen Basic Appeals” by Jib Fowles explains the fifteen appeals by which advertisements manipulate consumers. Each appeal is displayed in an ad, and that appeal works for each one respectively. Many agree that advertisements are giving viewers the wrong idea on the product that’s being sold. However there are others that advertise the product who say that they are just trying to make the product well known by using or doing things that people will find interesting. Coca-Cola Rhetorical Analysis ,Although trademarks are extremely prevalent in modern culture, determining who has the rights to a particular slogan can often be challenging. The given selection of letters between Mr. Herbert of the Coca-Cola Company and Mr. Seaver of Grove Press highlight this ambiguity. Both companies have used the slogan, “It’s the Real Thing” in advertising, and a conflict has ensued to determine the rights to the slogan. While both representatives use various rhetorical strategies to lay claim to the right to use the slogan, Mr. Seaver of Grove Press makes a more convincing argument by effective rebuttal of Mr. Herbert’s arguments and superior use of rhetorical devices. In a letter to Mr. Seaver of Grove Press,…

Advertisements have been the driving force for companies to get people to buy the product that the company is selling. For example, the “Share a Coke” Coca-Cola commercial has been one of the most successful commercials that the Coca-Cola company has made. CRP was identified from patients with acute pneumococcal pneumonia at the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research (Tillett and Francis, 1930), a name that reflects its reaction with the C-polysaccharide of Pneumococcus. This pentameric protein with MW 118 kDa has five non-covalently bonded and non-glycosylated identical subunits of 206 amino acids each to form a disk-shaped pentagon (Fig. 1). CRP has been proven as an early indicator of infectious or inflammatory conditions as well as a universal biomarker for a wide range of diseases and disorders. As such diseases often commence at very low CRP levels, nM or even pM, analytical methods must be highly sensitive, selective, fast and reliable using minimum sample volume. Therefore, sensitive…

Cell penetrating peptides are proteins or peptides that typically consist of 5-30 amino acids. These peptides are unique in that they are able to cross cell membranes and other barriers throughout the body such as the blood brain barrier, intestinal and nasal mucosa, and even skin. Using CPPs, scientists are now able to explore their potential as a means of transporting cargo into cells and across bio barriers. With their ease of preparation and generally nontoxic nature, CPPs have gained a lot of popularity and expanded research. Prior to the first CPP being discovered in 1988, gene therapy and delivery of cargo such as drugs, peptides and proteins, DNA, RNA, oligonucleotides, liposomes, nanoparticles, quantum dots, etc. were susceptible…
