Romeo and Juliet came from two families who have a history of hatred, and always end up getting into fights. Romeo was a Montague, and Juliet was a Capulet. They fell in love at first sight, and they wanted to live a magical future with each other, but there were many complications.
Body Romeo and Juliet’s problem was they couldn’t love each other. Juliet’s parents wouldn’t let her marry or even talk to Romeo, or any of the Montague’s. Romeo, however could find the time, and a way to get to her from her balcony, but he had to be very sneaky. The people that wouldn’t let them communicate was Juliet’s parents, but surprisingly Juliet’s Nurse was okay with what she wanted to do. Also, Tybalt wanted to kill Romeo, which led to even more problems between the Prince, and their families and Romeo.

Romeo ended up getting banished to the city of Mantua. Causing Juliet to get upset, then leading to her father pressuring her to marry Paris (when she was already married to Romeo). She went to Friar Laurence, and begged him to help her, or else she would kill herself there. Friar Laurence gave her the sleeping potion, which then led to her parents believing she was dead. Her parents then held a funeral for her, and during her funeral Romeo’s servant Balthasar came along, and saw it was her, and assumed she was dead, and brought back Romeo false information. Romeo then believed Juliet was dead, and decided to buy poison from an apothecary in Mantua, and drink it at Juliet’s tomb to lay “dead” with her.
