Football is rough sport and it comes with a lot of injuries. The biggest injury is a concussion form taking hits to the head. It can cause major damage or I could be just little injury. Concussion effect the brain in many way. It can effect you for a brief time period or the rest of your life. They also can lead to other serious brain diseases. These diseases and injuries are permeant and the is no way to reverse them, but that can be prevented. Concussions are swelling and bruising of the brain that tear blood vessels and injuring nerves. Concussions are caused by hard blows to the head that make the brain hit your skull and cause damage. In football they are caused by helmet to helmet contact at fun speed when colliding with another player. They are also can occur when the player hits his head hard on the ground after being tackled. A blow to the spine or any indirect hit to the body is another way concussions happen. It also can occur …show more content…
Amnesia, depression, lack of sleep, mood swings, vomiting, headaches or migraines, and nausea are physical and emotional symptoms temporarily caused by concussions but last a little longer.
