If he would have been a mature adult he would not have even told Juliet about the potion and tried to calm and knock sense into her. If Friar would have never given Juliet the potion she would have never staged her death and Romeo would have never killed himself. Therefore, both teens would still be alive. Another immature thing Friar said was, “Take thou this vial, being in bed” (IV.i.95). This shows you that Friar cannot make adult decisions. If he would have never told her how to take the vial and look “dead,” Romeo would have never committed suicide and again, both teens would still be alive. If Friar would have never given Juliet the potion (cause), both teens would not be dead
