The group goes against the beliefs of the Catholic Church, specifically the Humanæ Vitæ. The Humanæ Vitæ is a book that Pope Paul VI wrote regarding issues on birth control, marriage, and parenthood (Catechism). The Pope wrote that Catholic followers should not be allowed to use any form of contraceptives. Catholics for Choice disagrees with that statement and use Catholic teaching to justify their reasons.
