The Catholic religion if a very widely accepted and practiced religion throughout the world. For my site visit I went to St. Mary Catholic Church which is located at 414 Madison St, Decatur, IN 46733. Their phone number is (260) 724-9159 and the church’s mission statement is to spread the gospel message, administer sacraments and reach out with charity and justice to people in need. The first thing I realized when I walked into St. May’s Catholic Church was how beautiful it was. It had these amazing marble floors with pillars that went all the way to the ceiling. There was a small choir that sat on the top balcony with a gorgeous organ straight ahead. Through this experience I was able to learn many new things about this religion, particularly …show more content…
He told me that it gives his life purpose along with a path to take. Not that it show him exactly what to do when; more like, it shows him what is godly to do and what is not. Therefore, it keeps his morals where they should be, especially being a leader of a church. His religion is what his entire life revolves around. Leaders can effectively translate intention into reality by acting on the concepts and messages they teach and the things they say to those around them. Leadership is the act of setting the right example for those who

Something we focused on in class as well as in this book was the power of your witness. We watched an entire video on the importance of the spirituality of the leader, but I would say that the spirituality of the parents speaks even louder. For example, my family didn’t talk too much about faith in the home growing up. However, every morning when I would wake up for school at 5:30 am, I would come downstairs to see my father in his chair, having been there for at least an hour, praying Morning Prayer and doing some spiritual reading before he left for work at the early hour of six o’clock.…

In today’s society, people associate religion with believing in a “higher power”. Even though most people live their life based on believing in a certain thing or living a certain way, I myself have never really committed to a religious affiliation. Even so, I have always admired the devotion some people put into their religion. Upon researching local religious congregations, the one that came to my attention was St. Thomas Moore. St. Thomas is a local catholic church in Tallahassee, Florida.…

The meaning of leadership is being a leader to others whether that be a group, an organization, or to younger/older kids. I have demonstrated leadership in several different ways. One way is through my school.
