Tennessee, known for its stunning music performances. Located in the southern region of the united states, when it is 1:00 AM in California it is 3:00 AM in Nashville, Tennessee’s capital city. Tennessee borders eight states: Kentucky and Virginia to the north; North Carolina to the east; Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi on the south; Arkansas and Missouri on the Mississippi River to the west. Tennessee is 42,143 mi² in space. Its nickname is “The Volunteer State”. The nickname originated during the War of 1812, in which the volunteer soldiers from Tennessee, serving under Gen.
