Casey Anthony Case Studies

The biggest problem that I have with this case is Casey Anthony’s behavior during the time period that Caylee was reported missing. Caylee Anthony was missing for around 30 days with the help of police. Casey also says that during the time period was living her daily life and seems not to care that much about her daughter. Casey on more then on occasion was seen out and drinking. She couldn’t have cared that much about her daughter’s whereabouts if she is drinking and having a good time. Also during this time period she got a tattoo and the artist told the press that Casey seemed fine when getting the tattoo and mentioned nothing about Caylee. Casey also had a history of lying from the past and in the case. She lied about a graduating high

Months before this court case, people were saying, “Casey Anthony who?” Then the media portrayed it as a much bigger deal than it really is. Everyday someone gets murdered and the media chooses this one case and provide an unfair bias against Casey Anthony and basically brainwashing the public into thinking that Casey Anthony is a senseless, guilty murderer. Although some might say that the Jury made the right decision on the case because of the lack of evidence of the actual conviction of Casey Anthony. Media sources that say the jury did the right thing state that there is no reason to be prejudiced against evidence simply because it is circumstantial evidence.…

What emotional intelligence qualities allowed Amy Cuddy to be successful after the accident? Of course having her IQ decreased as a consequence of a car accident did not make Amy Cuddy’s life any easier. Sometimes, if not always, life does not work the way we want; the answer a person with a very high IQ might have then is just not the right one to solve the problem and to make things work again as planned. When all that happens, the successful goal one meant to achieve, if everything occurred as planned, will just not be achieved.…

STUDENT NOTES AND COMMENTS ON THE CASE: I stand by the Court’s decision to uphold Roe v. Wade because I believe that whether a woman chooses to abort her fetus or not should ultimately be left up to her. The State should not have the authority to forbid abortions up until the fetus is able to live outside of the womb, at which point I believe that it is not moral nor should it be legal to abort the fetus. I agree with the decision made in the case of Planned Parenthood v. Casey to uphold the requirements for informed consent and a 24-hour waiting period. In regard to the reporting requirements, I believe that it is important to keep such records for medical, scientific and statistical reasons. Without such records, medical research on abortions…

Another famous preschool abuse case is Fort Bragg preschool, also in California. Similar accusations were made in this case as with the McMartin case, but on top of all of the McMartin accusations, teachers and staff members were also accused of having children being buried in coffins, being tortured with water, being forced to perform mock marriages with other students as well as the devil, having medical operations where the teacher would “take out” the children's hearts and place something else inside the body usually something with a negative or satanic connotation, and being hung upside down or tied up over a “star” or pentagram, the symbol of satanists. Also similar to the McMartin case, people believed all of these accusations were fake or make believe; however, proving this case was slightly different than proving the McMartin trial.…

On both sides of the debate, people from around the world, including the Vatican, weighed in with their opinion and viewpoints. There was no correct answer and no easy answer about if Terri Schiavo should live, with the requirements of extensive long-term care, or if she should die, presuming her informal conversation she had with Michael Schiavo about life-saving and prolonging were enough to make the decision final. This research paper will review how Terri Schiavo, Michael Schiavo, the Schindlers, the international attention and the State of Florida statutes played a role in a landmark decision involving Terri Schiavo’s end-of-life decision.…

I decided to do option #2 major case observation and analysis. The online case I decided to do my research on was the Jodi Arias case. I believe the reason I picked this case over the others was this case was very interesting to me. Sure the O.J. Simpson case was a big one, but we all know he got away with murder. Throughout the book, Just Mercy, the encounters Bryan Stevenson had with inmates was eye-opening to me. When one looks at the criminal justice system as a whole, every person convicted of their crime is looked upon as rightfully guilty. After reading, Just Mercy, that is clearly not the case. There are many people put into jail or even death row for crimes they did not even commit. The case with Walter McMillian is a perfect example of this.…
