The Friends United Network (F.U.N) has decided to carry on the task of painting the John Franklin School of Learning on 13 Martin Street in Spanish Town, St. Catherine. The John Franklin School of Learning is a nonprofit educational institution which started operations in 2007 and provides education for 62 students from inner city residential areas between the ages of 12 and 14 years old who are without any formal teaching. After the students have passed their end of year examinations, they are furnished with a recommendation letter from the school so that they can be filtered into the high school system. The building that the school currently occupies has lost its exterior aesthetic beauty, lacks educational paintings and the name of the school on the wall is hardly noticeable. After discussions with Mrs. Maria Buckle who is the headmistress, it was established that since the institution had moved into the building the space has not been painted over and they have been unable to source the funds or manpower to do the like.

This is something noteworthy and noble, especially considering that they manage it at a minimal monetary value. The school’s desire is to paint the external parts of the school back in its original colours which are primarily red and yellow while blue, orange and green are in lesser need. As such, to complete this task 4 gallons of Red paint, 4 gallons of Lemon Yellow paint, 1 gallon of blue, orange and green paint each and 4 gallons of White paint will be required. The school would be most thankful if your company could assist in whatever manner possible in order for this venture to come to fruition, which would also serve to beautify that corner of Spanish Town.
