The Devils Club Plant is a shrub with thorns that can be up to 1 inch. The plant can grow 5 to 8 feet tall. The leaves can have 7-9 pointy lobes. The leaves veins are covered with sharp spines. The leaves can be 10-35 cm across (Summer). “Even the leaves have little-bitty thorns” said Senkowsky. The flowers that the plant grows are a whitish green color. Normally the flowers have 5 petals. The flowers can be 5-6 mm long (Summer). The fruit that the plant grows is a bright red color and is not edible to humans. The berries have 2-3 seeds in them and are 4 mm long
