It was said that Steven had lied about dropping her off, and had really taken her to a wooded area where he sexually assaulted and murdered her. The Crown claimed that he had killed her some time between 7-7:45 pm that evening. Witnesses say they saw him by the wooded area where Lynne was found that night. The autopsy doctor said that Lynne was killed sometime between the 7-7:45 pm time slot, and that the lesions on Steven’s penis could have been caused by sexually assaulting Lynne.
