Smashburger is an American burger franchise hotel with more than 370 outlets in the world (Scotsman). Nine countries take pride in having a Smashburger outlet and is well spread in 37 American states (Solares). From the name, it is axiomatic that the outlets deal majorly in the making of burgers in the many states that they are premised on. Smashburger has made new customers and retained old ones as a result of the manner in which they prepare and serve their burgers. The smash burger outlet at Piscataway, New Jersey is one of my favorite joints. Observations I walked to the Smashburger in Piscataway, New Jersey to conduct a survey by means of observation, I had to first notify one of the employees in this outlet of my intentions. The latter is based on the fact that some of the menus are foreign hence customers might need a little bit of help in choosing what they’ll have for the day. Every so often when I get to visit this outlet, I order a regular cheeseburger with crispy beef, smash fries, salad and a milkshake, this happens to be one of my favorite combinations of all time. One of the most commendable things about this joint is that the line moves somewhat faster as customers move to place their orders at the counter. Upon reaching the counter, they are given numbers then asked to wait for a few minutes as their orders are being processed (Staff). Once the order is processed and is ready, it is brought right where you are seated and you are left to enjoy the meal at the premises or carry it with you if yours was a takeaway order (Staff). On a subjective basis, I think once I walk into this outlet when hungry, the time taken to bring the order to the table is longer, but when I’m not as hungry, it seems to me that lesser time is
